Jon “Rip” Holmes is a Master trainer with over 20 years of experience. Certified since 1989 with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), he has spent his career making strides to better the lives of others and refine his own technical prowess.  In 2001, Rip was certified with the American Council of Exercise (ACE), further proving his admiration and dedication to the betterment of those around him.

 

A former competitive bodybuilder, he is no stranger to hard work and producing results.  Clearly, with the numerous awards and top-5 placings, there were no strings attached to this man.  Rip also has 25+ years in the medical field, specializing in Radiology, which taught him Computerized Tomography and the practice of performing nuclear medicine stress tests.  He is also certified in CPR/AED First Aid through the American Heart Association.

Currently, Rip is the Owner of LoveThyself Personal Training and Fitness. Formerly, he was a co-owner of Aces Physical Therapy and Kinesiology. Rip is always looking forward to meeting new people. On his love for training, he says, "I have a genuine passion for what I do. I have always been fascinated with the human body function and mechanics. Continuing my education, client referrals and staying in touch with the current trends are my forte!"
